Our History...
Digestive & Liver Disease Specialists was established in 1987 and became a member of Gastrointestinal & Liver Specialists of Tidewater, PLLC in 1998. Today, our practice includes eight Board certified gastroenterologists and six exceptional nurse practitioners. Our physicians perform procedures in our office as well as Sentara Leigh and Sentara Norfolk General Hospitals. Our office Endoscopy Unit is fully accredited by the Accreditation Asociation for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. In addition to providing quality care and services, our practice actively participates in several clinical research studies.
